Gol o Morgh

In Persian literature, the word Murgh (chicken) is used to refer to birds of any kind, but in informal speech, Murgh is primarily associated with pre-packed chicken that is ready to be consumed. It appears that in this semantic transition the delicate and shrewd birds of old poems have turned into hastily put-together plastic objects, and inherent concepts such as beauty, love, and freedom connote differently in contemporary life.
